Gilt copper-alloy buckle; rectangular sheet-metal, secured by two small copper-alloy rivets at outer corners; slot for pin; ornate decoration on front surface consisting of a die-stamped lion passant on a punched stippled ground enclosed by a raised linear border; traces of heavy gilding.
