Copper alloy brooch fragment. Foot only with damaged catchplate. Flat fantail shape with three central grooves and small transverse lines along the longitudinal edges. This style of foot is found on crescent type Aesicas, but this example is most similar to Hattatt's Wing-and-Fanbow type e.g. no. 299 (1989 312, fig 171). Surviving length 21.63mm and width 14.48mm.
