Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug spring attachment. Missing pin and part of spring; damaged area on bow front; some wear/corrosion. No surviving decoration on the wings. The bow is flat backed and tapers slightly to a flat end. The front has a centre rib at the top, flattening to a central band with traces of incised (rocker) zigzag, and flanked by broad concave mouldings. The solid catchplate has a pin groove. Width 20mm, length 41mm.
