A thick body sherd from an amphora, dating from the Roman period, between AD 43 - 410 (dimensions: 46mm x 37mm; thickness: 21mm; weight: 22.36g). The fabric is light beige and was tempered with quarz and medium-sized grit particles. The sherd comes from a large amphora, probably used for storage or transport of wine, oil or other liquids.
