Unique ID: WAW-3D6DA3

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A knapped flint scraper. The scraper is sub semi-circular in plan. The ventral surface has a single negative flake scar, and conchoidal rings, however the bulb of percussion and striking platform are missing due to recent damage. The dorsal surface has two large negative flake scars with re-touch around the curved portion of the scraper. The angle of the re-touch is quite steep. The flint is a mottled mid and dark grey colour. It measures 33mm long and 28mm wide. It weighs 11.1g. The scraper is probably prehistoric, possibly dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age (-3500 to -1500).
