The object has a D-shaped frame with a central pin rest on the outer edge. The plate is integral and consists of three sections. The section adjacent to the frame is plain and has slightly convex edges, a small circular hole into which the now-missing pin would have fitted, and a remnant of a small iron rivet. The central section is narrower, has a vertical collar at each end, and is decorated with diagonal incised lines. The third section consists of a pointed knop with a second corroded iron rivet. The surface of the buckle is black, possibly indicating a corroded silvering or tinning. Overall, the object measures 40.3mm long by 13.9mm wide and 2.5mm thick. It weighs 3.16g.","","","2005-11-29 15:58:32","2011-02-24 13:50:54","4","0","1","2005-11-20","","","","","1","1","1","1","1","","","","","jwatters","Julian Watters","BH","dpett","Daniel Pett","Copper alloy","","","","Cast","","Incomplete","Fair","Certain","MEDIEVAL","","","Metal detector","","Mr Julian Watters","","Mr Julian Watters","BEDFORDSHIRE","","BEDFORD","","","","","TL5025","TL05SW","","","","","","Biddenham","From Finder","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","84565","Med buckle 2204 - 8.jpg","images/jwatters/",
