Burin of Mesolithic or early Neolithic date. Knapped from a flake of mid-grey flint, the distal end has been worked to a tip through abrupt removals. The proximal end has a striking platform and a bulb of percussion. Previous flakes have been removed from the surface of the flake, and there are short removals along the two edges, not just the burin point. The burin is 26.69mm long, 13.66mm wide, 2.27mm thick and weighs 1.27 grams.

Notes:

This burin is in the centre of the photograph.
