Nine vessel sherds of medieval coarse ware pottery. These fragments are possibly Doncaster Humberwares. The fabric is fairly coarse pale orange in colour with sandy inclusions. The sherds are unglazed. This type of pottery was produced at a number of production centres including Cowick and Holme on Spalding Moor and was manufactured from the late 13th century until 16th century. This pottery was largely utilitarian and functional.
