It now has more than 40 staff and covers the whole of Wales &amp;amp; England. Originally a specialist in Roman coins, he has documented many hoards from the British Isles.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;He was recently seconded to the DCMS to handle legislation relating to the handling of Illicit Antiquities.
